BKCLC Board meeting amd give back party

Good Day Fellow lions,

Season greetings, please be advise there will be a short  board meeting on Sunday January 3rd at 3PM follow by our annual give back party at 4:30 Pm please try to be on time for the meeting and Members please  remember to contribute to the toy drive. bellow please find The ages  and amount of children .Thanking you in advance for your corporation and remember the toys will be handed out at the feeding for the youths.   .

BKCLC 1st AC Meeting

The AC Meeting in the Lions' Den

Tonight BKCLC attended our 1st AC Meeting for the year. Lion President Marcella, Lions Keisha, Keith, Andrea, Marion, Gloria, and Joan  attended on behalf of BKCLC.  We joked that it was a BKCLC Meeting.  Lions from Pace Setters, Crown Heights, and East New York also attended.  Pace Setters is also in our region so both BKCLC and Pace Setters gave reports. Lion Audrey Doorn (PP of Pace Setters) received honors from the Assemblyman and the Congressman for her work in the community.  Her club, Pace Setters, also sent barrels to Guyana with books and are helping a family that lost their home to fire in Guyana replace their possessions. Due to her efforts 18 mattresses were donated to the club and sent to Guyana.  Everyone already knows about BKCLC since you read our blog but I think we held our own.  

For repast we had fish, chicken and cassava.  For dessert we had a cheesecake, a cake and a pie.  All in all we had good food, good company and a good time.  We learned a lot of information.  Thank you to Lion Adderley for opening her home to host Lion Muir's meeting,

As we know the feeding with Lion Sonia is coming up on Saturday December 5th at 12 Noon.  The address is 800 Madison Street bet Patchen and Ralph Ave, we are still looking for volunteers to help out Lion Sonia. Please let us turn out in numbers and give her our Lion;s support, it's for a worthy cause.
